Our annual Giving Challenge begins on Monday, Nov. 13 and runs until Sunday evening, Nov. 19. This event has primarily been supported by local residents in the past, but this year we have also reached out to our local business community in the hopes that they could also be part of this important fundraiser. Contributions during this week will be topped up by The Winnipeg Foundation and the Province of Manitoba to a maximum of $4,000. The Giving Challenge supports our annual Granting Program. This year, we gave $19,338 to local nonprofits to assist with the good work they do to improve the quality of life in our community. All donations, no matter the size, are welcome. As always we appreciate your kind support.
