Congratulations to Susanne Moore, now retired Recreation Director of the MacDonald Headingley Recreation District, who received a prestigious Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal for her outstanding 31 year contribution to both Headingley and MacDonald's community growth in recreation and volunteerism. Susanne mentored many active volunteer groups who flourished under her guidance (including the Headingley Community Foundation). She was also an active contributor to the development and implementation of Headingley's Inaugural Recreation Plan, as well as development of MHRD's diverse recreation programming. In 2015 MHRD, under Susanne's charge, received the Manitoba Association of Senior Center's Award of Commitment to Community. THANK YOU SUSANNE!
