Congratulations to Glenn Reimer, long time Headingley resident and now councillor, who received a prestigious Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal for his outstanding life of volunteerism in Manitoba. Glenn was recognized for his 28+ yrs of service as the Deputy Chief of the Headingley Fire Dept, First Responders and the driving force behind the HFD Run for Wishes - raising over $300,000 over 22 yrs to support the Children's Wish Foundation, Children's Rehabilitation Foundation and Canadian Mental Health.
