The Headingley Community Foundation supports the preservation and understanding of Indigenous culture, language and history through our 215 Moccasins Endowment Fund. Last year HCF granted $215 to the Akiing Onji Foundation, a local Indigenous nonprofit, with a matching donation to Phoenix Elementary School. National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a day to encourage all people, local governments, schools and communities to come together and create a more equitable world for future generations.
